”Z / L / L” will get a restart
On television, anthologies are very popular, but in cinema this format is not used so often. If we talk about horror, then a vivid example of horror anthologies is the Z / L / O franchise, and after several years of hiatus, the film series returns to life.The anthology Z / L / O 94 will be produced by David Bruckner, who directed one of the segments of the first part, as well as the horror film Ritual, and a team known as Radio Silence (I Go To Look). The project is positioned as a reboot of the franchise, which, moreover, will be strikingly different from its predecessors. Whereas before the segments of each film stood apart, now they will all be linked. The directors who will direct the short films for the new anthology include Simon Barrett (Guest), Timo Thiagianto (Raid: Bullet in the Head) and newcomer to the film world Chloe Okuno. Now the project team is negotiating with other directors.  The premiere of the first film in the series "Z / L / O" took place back in 2012, followed by two sequels and a spin-off "Sirena".
