Last year, the situation was slightly better: nine films out of 54 brought in profits. All in all, 168 domestic films were released this year - 28 more than last year.Of the films that have brought profit to their creators, it is worth noting the films "Mistresses", "Grandmother of easy virtue 2", "Sober driver", "Billion" and "Let's get divorced!" The record holder of this year in the box office is the military drama "T-34". The action movie by Alexei Sidorov raised more than half a billion rubles, and the anti-record was set by the adventure film "The Secret of the Dragon's Seal" with Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger - the film raised a little over 300 million rubles in USA with a budget of 3 billion. There is also a tendency towards a decrease in the collection of domestic cinema at the box office. As one of the analysts of the film business, Sergei Lavrov, said, the situation with low collections of films with state support depends on the system itself: producers are not obliged to return the state money spent on their projects.
