Spice Girls will become cartoon characters
For several years, the stars of the 90s, The Spice Girls, have been looking for an opportunity to team up for a joint project. And so they finally turned up. At the moment, Paramount Studio is working on the production of a cartoon about The Spice Girls, which will feature all five performers. The screenplay will be written by Karen McCull and Kirsten Smith. Both of them have worked on films such as The Naked Truth, 10 Reasons to Hate Me and Legally Blonde. The cartoon will be produced by The Spice Girls creator Simon Fuller. It is not yet known who will take the director's chair.The girls will be voicing themselves. The details of the plot have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that the singers will turn into superheroes. The cartoon will feature old hits of the group, as well as new songs that will not leave fans indifferent. The Spice Girls will reunite for the Paramount project for the first time since 2007. In 2016, the group released the song "Song For Her", but without the participation of Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham. The last time all five girls appeared on the big screen was in 1997 in the movie "Spice World", where the audience was shown five days of the band's life before the first concert at the prestigious British concert hall "Royal Albert Hall". That year was a successful year for the group, helping the film raise $ 151 million worldwide against a budget of $ 25 million. Moreover, there was talk of a possible sequel.  The band has now embarked on a tour of Europe, having successfully sold out all tickets. Victoria Beckham decided to give up the tour, but agreed to participate in the production of the cartoon.
