However, the actor is waiting for a journey of a different kind: he will try to go around the world in 80 days.Tennant (Jessica Jones, Good Omens) will try on the image of Phileas Fogg in a new adaptation of Jules Verne's work. This time, Around the World in 80 Days will be a series in which Fogg will try to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days on a dare and go to meet dangers and glory in the company of Passepartout's faithful servant and journalist Abigail Fix, who dreams of writing an article about this extraordinary adventure. The role of Passepartout is given to the Frenchman Ibrahim Coma, and the journalist will be played by Leonie Benes ("White Ribbon"). Filming is due to begin in February and is scheduled to be released late next year. “We're thrilled to see a talented actor like David become the modern incarnation of Phileas Fogg. This adventure is not only full of terrible physical difficulties - from the sweltering heat of the desert to the Hong Kong crooks and the protests in Paris, but it will also be personal for Fogg himself ”, - said the executive producer of the series Simon Crawford Collins.
