Daredevil renewed for season two
Eleven days after the premiere of the first season of the telecomic "Daredevil" on April 10, 2015, streaming service Netflix has renewed the superhero drama for a second season. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The Daredevil Show, starring Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire), is the first of five Marvel series to debut on Netflix. The drama will return in 2016 with new showrunners – Doug Petri ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Marco Ramirez ("Sons of Anarchy"). Stephen S. DeKnight, who served as showrunner in season 1, is stepping down to pursue full-length Marvel projects. For Daredevil. the streaming service will alternate between superhero dramas featuring Jessica Jones (AKA Jessica Jones), Luke Cage and Iron Fist. After that, all four heroes will unite in the mini-series "The Defenders". In the upcoming Jessica Jones series, at the time of writing, the cast includes: Kristen Ritter, Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachel Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss and other actors.
