Image WarnerMedia will continue its longstanding partnership with writer Stephen King. The American corporation has bought the rights to the film adaptation of the high-octane thriller Full Throttle.

The Horror King wrote the book in 2009 in a duet with his eldest son Joe Hill. The story is inspired by Richard Matheson's short story Duel and Steven Spielberg's film of the same name. The plot revolves around a father and son trying to save a gang of bikers from being chased by a sinister truck ...

Full Throttle will be adapted by Lee Dana Jackson (Sleepy Hollow) and produced by David S. Goyer (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Da Vinci's Demons). According to preliminary information, the film will avoid theatrical release and go to one of the streaming platforms.

King previously collaborated with the Warner company on The Shining, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, 11.22.63, It and many other film adaptations of his bestsellers.
