Sequel to The Shining Becomes Prequel
Warner Bros. Film Company, which owns the rights to the movie adaptation of The Shining Stephen King has changed her mind about movieing a sequel based on the sequel, which the writer began to create in late 2011. Instead, according to the LA Times, the studio is considering movieing a prequel. It is assumed that the action of the picture will take place before the writer Jack Torrance with his wife and son arrived at the remote hotel. Note that King himself planned to continue the story of the matured Danny Torrance, whose supernatural powers have found new uses. Terms of work on a new project have not yet been determined.
