Emmerich more than once brought humanity closer to the end of the world - just remember The Day After Tomorrow, 2012 and two Independence Days, but now historical events will become the justification for massive destruction.Emmerich's new film focuses on the Battle of Midway, a clash between US and Japanese navies that played a critical role in the balance of power in the Pacific during World War II. Based on real events, the film tells about military leaders and ordinary soldiers who tipped the scales to their side thanks to their courage and unshakable fortitude. In a conversation with reporters, Emmerich described Midway as a film about America, which was far from a superpower - it was just recovering from the crisis and was drawn into the war. The director also understands that his new work will be compared to the drama Pearl Harbor, and it was because of Michael Bay's epic that Emmerich had to postpone Midway until better times. Midway Dubbed Trailer Judging by the trailer, the viewers are in for a dizzying action in a historical setting - something constantly explodes and flares in the video, planes break through fire and a curtain of smoke, and ships sink. And the cast is impressive: Patrick Wilson, Ed Skrein, Aaron Eckhart, Luke Evans, Tadanobu Asano, Mandy Moore, Woody Harrelson and many others will take part in the battle.
