Venice has stood the fight against COVID-19
Good news came from Italy. The epidemiological situation in the country is improving, which means that viewers will not be left without one of the world's main film screenings - the Venice Festival.Italy is among the top three countries with the highest number of deaths from COVID-19, according to the World Health Organization. Local authorities coped with the crisis and began preparations for the opening of cinemas and the resumption of cultural events. According to the head of the Veneto region, Luca Zaia, the 77th Venice Festival will take place on time. Based on past experience, it can be assumed that the event program will be announced in the middle of summer. The film screening itself will take place from 2 to 12 September.
