Moss and DiCaprio find a killer from the past
It's only two days since Elisabeth Moss signed an agreement with the online service Hulu, launched her own production company and is already planning an anthology. At the same time, Moss continues to star in "The Handmaid's Tale" and recently agreed to play a housewife from Texas, skillfully wielding an ax, but this was not enough for the actress: it is reported that Moss will star in the TV series "Shining Girls", based on the novel of the same name Lauren Bukes.Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the producers of the project. His company, Appian Way, has been adapting Bukes' bestselling book since 2013, but it's only now that the thriller is getting closer to screens than ever. Streaming service Apple TV + has commissioned the first season of the show, which will be scripted by Silka Louise (Strange Angel). She will also take the post of showrunner. According to the plot of the original book, Harper Curtis is a killer who came from the past, and Kirby Mazrachi is a girl who was not supposed to have a future. Kirby is the last "shining" - one of the young women of great potential, whose lives Harper takes. In Chicago during the Great Depression, he stumbled upon a house with a temporary portal and, following the instructions of the house, rubbed into the credibility of the "shining", and when the moment is right, strikes. Each time he manages to disappear without a trace, moving to another time, but after Harper's attack, Kirby survived and is ready to do anything to find the killer.  According to Apple's official announcement, Moss will play a Chicago journalist who has survived a brutal attack. It should be assumed that she got the role of Kirby.
