Sea Monster Story
There are many examples of how animation directors have successfully conquered the world of feature films. Josh Cooley will try to be one of those. He spent 17 years at Pixar and left on a high note, taking home an Oscar for Toy Story 4, which was also his directorial debut, aside from a couple of short films.Cooley was considered one of Pixar's finest talent for a reason, and is now being hunted down by other Hollywood studios. Paramount signed a director for their animated Transformers, and Sony invited him to lead a feature film. The project will be based on the children's book Malamander, described as a whimsical fantasy story. The action of the tape will unfold in a seaside town, inhabited by strange people and full of secrets, as gloomy as the local fogs. A boy named Herbert Lemon works in the lost property office, and therefore knows that sometimes it is not easy to return lost things. What if the find is a person, not an object? Young Violet Parma has lost her parents. No one has a clue what happened to them 12 years ago. The girl turns to Herbert for help, and together they go in search of Violet's parents. An unforgettable adventure awaits them, in which there is a place for the legendary sea monster, according to rumors, dreams come true, and the pursuer with a hook for a hand.  Cooley is expected to start filming the fantasy after completing work on Transformers, which is in full swing despite the pandemic.
