Fox has decided to keep up with sister television network FX, which delights viewers with thrilling crime dramas such as Fargo, The Mediator, The Mayans and American Crime Story. The channel's management acquired the rights to an American remake of the popular Argentinean TV series "The Cleaning Lady".The author's group of the TV project will be headed by the producer of the fantastic saga "The Hundred" and the screenwriter of the peplum "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" Miranda Kwok. In the center of the plot of the English-language version of the series will be a young Filipina who will give up her medical career and go to the United States to pay for her son's expensive treatment. Soon, the main character of the story will understand that the only way to make big money is to accept an invitation from the USA mafia, which urgently needs a specialist in removing evidence and cleaning crime scenes ... The original series debuted on Argentinean streaming platform CINE Play in 2017 and earned good press coverage.  Remake will be produced by Amore & Vita Productions and Warner Bros. TV department.
