New Tales of the South
Director and screenwriter Richard Kelly will return to the world of the film that ended his Hollywood career. The winner of the Saturn Prize is preparing a prequel to the fantastic comedy thriller Tales of the South.Kelly made a splash in 2001 when his debut feature-length film, Donnie Darko, earned rave reviews in the press, won several prestigious awards and gained cult status among moviegoers. Five years later, the director told an even stranger story - Tales of the South. Despite its stellar cast and hype around the director's name, the film disappointed critics and earned a paltry $ 375,000 on a $ 17 million budget.
