Any horror fan has come across anthologies at least once in his life. "Z / L / O" and its sequels, "The ABC of Death", "Monsters of the South" - this format helps to reveal the talent of novice filmmakers and attract the attention of producers to them. Last year, visitors to Fantastic Fest had the opportunity to see yet another collection of creepy stories - a painting called "Funeral Tales", which, according to critics, fits the title of an excellent horror film in all respects.The tape is set in a small American town. Montgomery Dark's duties include inspecting the deceased and preserving the stories of their deaths in numerous books. With the arrival of a young woman to succeed Montgomery, the eccentric undertaker begins to recall the strangest stories of his long career. Ryan Spindel, director of Funeral Tales, previously directed mostly short films, and was also responsible for a couple of episodes of the web series 50 States of Fear. Critics liked his new anthology: the events take place in different time periods, but the director managed to make each of the five stories stylish and at the same time fantastic. Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption) and Caitlyn Caster starred in the horror film. Funeral Tales Duplicate Trailer In USA cinemas "Burial Tales" will be released on October 8.
