Marvel won't let go of Spider-Man without a fight
Last month, it was revealed that Marvel and Sony had canceled a joint custody deal for Spider-Man. It looks like Kevin Feige's studio wants to undo the click that took Peter Parker out of the MCU. There are rumors in Hollywood that in a few days the companies will return to the negotiating table.At one time, Marvel sold the rights to their characters to avoid bankruptcy. After a few years, the company's business went uphill, and she began to return superheroes home. In early 2015, Marvel rented Spider-Man. All of the above suggests that Sony will launch a new round of negotiations from a position of strength. The bosses of the film company, of course, understand that the exit of Spider-Man from the Marvel universe promises a lot of trouble for both sides of the negotiations. They will have to explain where yesterday's friends and comrades of the superhero have gone, and the Marvelists will begin to frantically fold storylines with Spidey's participation. A few days ago there was a rumor that Tom Holland was supposed to appear in the first film about the adventures of Eddie Brock, but Marvel insisted that the scene with his participation be cut out. Now that the initiative in the negotiations is wholly owned by Sony, its leadership may well demand a crossover of the two MCUs.
