Marvel brings Spider-Man back to school

Studio Marvel intends to significantly "rejuvenate" Spider-Man in future movies dedicated to one of the most popular superheroes. According to Badass Digest, citing its sources, the new Peter Parker will be no more than 16-17 years old.

It is alleged that one of the contenders for this role has already become 16-year-old actor Matheus Ward, whom viewers could see in the series Murder of the First Degree and Weeds. The interception was carried out in such secrecy that not even one of the company's offices, but a private household, was used as a platform. Naturally, Marvel officials do not comment on the casting, so this information should be treated with a certain degree of distrust. Nevertheless, it serves as further confirmation of the studio's desire to "return" Peter Parker to school.

Recall that in February 2015 it became known that the Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures agreed on the joint use of Spider-Man. It is assumed that his next coming will take place in the movie "Captain America: Civil War", and then the superhero will solo in the Sony Pictures project, which is scheduled to premiere on July 28, 2017. Under the deal, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige agreed to produce Spider-Man movies for free.
