Turner and Hooch return to screens
The best detectives often work in pairs - Holmes and Watson, Riggs and Murtaugh. And if the named duets have already managed to visit both large and small screens, then the cheerful couple Turner and Hooch are just getting ready to conquer television. Disney has begun work on a remake of Turner and Hooch, which will be released on the Disney + streaming platform.The original film was released in 1989. In it, Tom Hanks played the role of detective Scott Turner, who, while investigating the murder of his friend, meets a dog named Hooch. Turner takes the dog home and does not even suspect how much his life will change with the appearance of a four-legged companion in it, not distinguished by a docile character. The film "Turner and Hooch" was a success with viewers, and in 1990 NBC launched a television comedy based on the film, but the sitcom did not advance beyond the pilot stage. Matt Nix (The Gifted) is directing the new version for Disney +.  The Turner & Hooch remake fits perfectly into the strategy of Home of Mouse, and this is not the first project based on the popular franchise to hit Disney +: TV lovers are already enjoying The Mandalorian, a Star Wars spin-off and High School Musical.
