The streaming service Disney + is launching a series based on the hit crime comedy "Turner and Hooch" from 1989. According to Variety, the script will be prepared by Matt Nix, who previously worked on projects such as Black Label and The Gifted. He will also be the executive producer of the project. In the center of the plot of the original movie was detective Scott Turner, whose unexpected partner is a sloppy dog named Hooch. The main role was played by Tom Hanks, whose career was on the rise at that moment. The movie also featured the Mayor Winningham, Craig T. Nelson, Reginald Wel Johnson, Scott Pauline, J.K.Queen, John McIntyre, David Nell and other artists.
