Michael Bay to give drone education
Michael Bay Bay Films will produce a biopic about the life of Brett Velikovich - a former employee of the American special forces " Delta ", whose professional duties were to prepare and coordinate unmanned attacks against known terrorist groups in Central and West Asia. The as-yet-untitled painting will be based on the upcoming memoir of a retired military man, reports Variety .The book and film will tell about special operations involving unmanned aerial vehicles, directed by the US army to undermine the activities of the most wanted terrorists. After getting acquainted with the peculiarities of the main character's military service in Iraq and Afghanistan, readers and viewers will be transported to Somalia, and then to Kenya. It was to these African countries that Velikovich went, whose army career ended in 2010. On the Black Continent, Brett began adapting drones for socially useful purposes - searching for and catching poachers hunting endangered African rhinos and other rare species of wild animals ...  Reportedly, Brett Ratner and James Packer's company RatPac Entertainment and Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions have been actively interested in the project. Such competition prompted the bosses of Paramount Pictures to promptly pay more than $ 1 million for the rights to the book and transfer the project to Bay Films . According to the publication, the memoirs of Brett Velikovich contain hitherto unknown details of the emergence and formation of ISIS . Thanks to the facts available to the author, the production should be the first to reliably represent a terrorist organization on the big screen.  For Bay and his company, the film will be another film exploring counterterrorism: in January this year, the movie “13 Hours: Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” was released on the big screens, which tells about the attack by Islamic militants on the American mission in Libya.
