Remembering his father-in-law's advice “If you want to fix something, you need to take it apart,” Davis decides to improve his life in the same way, and at the same time understand what is wrong with him. Having changed his formal suit for working jeans, he armed himself with a sledgehammer and began to destroy the walls in his own house ...  Thanks to screenwriter Brian Sipe, Destruction features a controversial central character with a complex personality. And Gyllenhaal , who in recent years, it seems, has never been mistaken with the choice of projects, was the best fit for this role, as can be seen from the trailer. He was accompanied by Naomi Watts, Heather Lind, Chris Cooper and Judah Lewis. How well their characters are spelled out can only be found out by evaluating the film on the big screens.
