The Tracking Board reports that Paramount is working with 3 Arts Entertainment to work on a screen adaptation of the science fiction novel Kazuaki Takano Genocide of One . The production functions of the project are assigned to Erwin Stoff (“I Am Legend”, “The Matrix”).In the story, a soldier Jonathan Yeager is sent to the Congolese jungle by order of the US President. The goal of this mission is to eliminate the threat to all of humanity in the person of a three-year-old child with abilities that cannot be controlled. The boy's name is Akili and he is the smartest person on this planet, predicting the future. And although everyone around him considers the child dangerous, Jonathan sees in him the savior of humanity, which leads to a series of unexpected events ... The story, written by Takano , combines the popular themes of the post-apocalyptic world and human superpowers that defy explanation and control.  According to the creators of the new film, the book on which it is based is similar in atmosphere to the novel by Michael Crichton Jurassic Park , which, as you know, was filmed by Steven Spielberg himself.
