CBS will have its own living dead
Judging by the popularity of zombie projects among viewers, this genre will remain one of the most popular on TV in the near future. So, AMC has The Walking Dead and their spin-off, while Syfy continues to show Nation Z ( Z Nation ). CBS decided to join the general trend.The channel is starting work on a television adaptation of Stefan Petrucci's novel, Dead Mann Walking , according to The Hollywood Reporter . The script for the future show was written by the creator of "Continuum" ( Continuum ) Simon Barry , and the series itself is a procedural with elements of a zombie thriller. The project will unfold in the near future. The plot revolves around the former police detective Hessius Mann , executed for the murder of his wife, but later revived thanks to some mysterious drug. Now Mann , who has returned from the world of the dead, is considered a "second-class citizen", but he, in spite of everything, becomes a private detective and intends to find the real murderer of his wife.
