Liam Neeson becomes captain of the drug submarine
As reported by The Wrap , 20th Century Fox has appointed Brian Kirk (Dexter / Dexter , The Tudors / The Tudors ) directed by the thriller Narco Sub .Initially, the director's chair was supposed to be taken by Tony Scott, and over the past couple of years, Doug Lyman and Antoine Fuqua managed to visit the candidates for the helmship post. The thriller was written by David Guggenheim ("Cape Town Passcode"). In the center of the plot -a disgraced American Navy officer who is forced to become the captain of a drug cartel submarine transporting a large consignment of cocaine to the United States. According to insiders, Liam Neeson will play the lead role in the film, with whom producers Ridley Scott and Simon Kienberg began negotiations last year.  Kirk made a name for himself through his work on television, and his film debut was Middletown. For several years, Brian has been developing the sci-fi project Passengers, which has recently been taken over by Morten Tildum. Soon, Neeson can be seen on the screens in the action movie "The Night Fugitive" and the comedy "The Third Extra 2".
