Liam Neeson will not play Abraham Lincoln (Topic)

Liam Neeson will not play United States President Abraham Lincoln in the Steven Spielberg biopic. The actor himself spoke about this in an interview with DigitalSpy. “I was on this project for a while, but now my schedule has changed,” Neeson said.

As a reminder, Spielberg has been planning a Lincoln movie for several years. Filming was repeatedly postponed, the last announced date for their start was Christmas 2010.

It is noteworthy that Neeson's plans include another role for the US President. He could play Lyndon Johnson in the movie directed by Lee Daniels.
