Go Power Rangers!
As reported by The Wrap , Lionsgate has invited Dean Israelite (Continuum) to lead Power Rangers ".The last time the project was heard in September last year, when Roberto Orsi left the post of executive producer. According to insiders, Israelite is a big fan of Power Rangers and is ready to help Lionsgate film company breathe new life into the famous franchise. Dean made his big-screen debut with the fantasy thriller Continuum . The film did not receive much critical success, but managed to earn more than $ 32 million at the worldwide box office on a budget of $ 12 million . The American TV series "Power Rangers" ( Mighty Morphin 'Power Rangers ) was based on the Japanese show " Super Sentai " in 1993. Two years later, the feature film Mighty Morphs: Rangers of Power was released, which earned $ 66 million at the box office on a budget of $ 15 million . Against the backdrop of success, a sequel was filmed, but Turbo Rangers failed to meet the studio's financial expectations.  Reportedly, Lionsgate is considering the Power Rangers reboot as one of their top priority projects. The script was written by Ashley Miller and Zach Stentz, and the production functions will be taken over by Heim Saban, Brian Casentini and Allison Shirmour.
