Jennifer Lawrence , who played Joy Mangano , the inventor of the miracle mop in Joy, is ready to take part in another biographical drama. According to The Hollywood Reporter , the actress will play the role of Marita Lorenz in the film Marita ( "Marita" ).In a competitive struggle, Sony studio bought out the script application of the Oscar nominee Eric Singer ("American Scam"). The biopic is produced by Lawrence , Matthew Tolmach, Scott Mednik and Andre Roulet. The film will tell about the years when 19-year-old Marita Lorenz met the Cuban leader Fidel Castro and had an affair with him. After an unsuccessful pregnancy, the girl had to leave Cuba and go to the USA, where Marita was approached by CIA . She had to fulfill the most important mission - to kill Castro , but Lorenz was too in love with the Comandante and never brought the matter to the end.  For her role in "Joy" Lawrence won a Golden Globe and was nominated for a Oscar . Not so long ago, the actress completed shooting in the sci-fi drama "Passengers" by the same studio Sony , and in the spring Jennifer will appear in one of the most anticipated films of 2016 - the blockbuster "People X: Apocalypse.
