Horrible Bosses Director Ready to Save Malibu
Studio Paramount invited Seth Gordon ("Horrible Bosses") to stage the movie " Rescuers Malibu " based on the cult TV series of the same name, reports The Hollywood Reporter .Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ("The San Andreas Rift") led the cast last October. Then it became known that they wanted to entrust the work on " Malibu Rescuers " to the directors of "Horrible Bosses 2" Sean Anders and John Morris, but now the studio management decided to replace them with the director of the first part of the comedy about the adventures of three friends and their nasty employers. The full-length version of " Rescuers " has been in production since 2004. Over the years, several authors have worked on the script for the film. Ultimately, the studio decided to opt for the text by Damien Shannon and Mark Swift (Friday the 13th), in which the hero Johnson appears as an experienced and serious rescuer, protecting the beach from the oil tycoon along with his young and cheerful partner.  Dwayne is currently filming the action comedy Central Intelligence. In just the past two months, one of Hollywood's top-grossing actors has added a remake of Big Trouble in Little China and an adaptation of the video game Rampage to his impressive roster of upcoming projects.  Filming of Rescue Malibu is slated to begin in the first quarter of next year. Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman will be producing the tape with Johnson .
