The information portal Deadline managed to get a short list of candidates for the main female role in the blockbuster " Gambit ". Recall that a week ago, Channing Tatum signed a contract to take part in the filming of the project, despite the rumor that the actor was leaving.According to the source, Gambit will move from comics to Bella Donna Boudreau , who has known Remy LeBeau since childhood. Bella is the daughter of the head of the New Orleans Assassin's Guild , while her lover came from the Thieves Guild . In order to unite the two warring organizations, the heroes got married, but soon their fates diverged. Subsequently, Bella acquired superpowers - she can generate explosions of plasma.  The shortlist for the role of Bella includes Leah Seydoux (Beauty and the Beast), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Tribe) and Abby Lee ("Mad Max: Fury Road"). However, it is not yet known whether the heroine is planned to appear in other films of the X-Men universe, as it will happen with the character Tatum .  The project will be directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and written by Joshua Zitumera (RoboCop). Gambit will open in USA cinemas on October 6, 2016 .
