Official: Tatum to play Gambit
A few days ago we reported that negotiations between 20th Century Fox and Channing Tatum regarding the latter's participation in the adaptation of the comic " Gambit " went to dead end. As it became known to journalists The Hollywood Reporter , the bosses of the film company and the actor still managed to find a common language, and Tatum officially signed up for the role of the mutant Remy LeBeau .The stumbling block in the negotiations was questions about the length of the agreement and the percentage of the box office of the main films of the franchise and the solo films of the hero Tatum , which will become part of the actor's fee. According to insiders, the studio management considers Gambit as a character that will serve as a link between the rest of the inhabitants of the X-Men cinematic universe. Previously, Wolverine performed similar functions, but in 2017, Hugh Jackman will finally say goodbye to this role. Gambit will be directed by Rupert Wyatt, who will be scripted by Joshua Zitumera. The blockbuster will be produced by Channing Tatum , Reed Carolyn, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kienberg.  The USA premiere of Gambit is scheduled for October 6, 2016 .
