Studio 8 will revive Nosferatu
As it became known to the Deadline edition, Jeffrey Robinov's company Studio 8 is taking into development a new project - a still unnamed remake of " Nosferatu - a symphony of horror ", a silent film Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau.The script will be written by Robert Eggers , he will also lead the shooting of the film. The filmmaker caught the attention of Hollywood studios after his horror film The Witch premiered at the Sundance Independent Film Festival. The film earned rave reviews from critics and brought Eggers the Best Director Award. The original presents the story of Dracula in a new way. Initially, Murnau wanted to bring Bram Stoker's classic to the screens, but the producers were unable to obtain the rights to film the book. The director had to change the names of the main characters, as well as make adjustments to some storylines.  Jay Van Hoy and Lars Knudsen are responsible for the production of the remake.
