Disney Started Searching for Young Han Solo
As viewers prepare to embark on a new journey through a galaxy far, far away in the blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney is in full swing on a series of spin-offs about iconic space saga heroes. According to The Hollywood Reporter , the bosses of the film company have started looking for a leading actor in the upcoming solo album Han Solo .According to insiders, two and a half thousand actors passed the first stage of the casting. Some of them met with studio representatives in person, while others sent videos of their participation to the filmmakers. In the near future, casting director Ginny McCarthy will select the most worthy candidates, who will then meet with directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The performer of the role of Khan should resemble a young Harrison Ford, be cheerful and charming, and also look confident in action scenes.  The invitation to audition for the role of the famous smuggler was quickened not only by aspiring actors, but also by such rising film and TV stars as Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars), Dave Franco (The Illusion of Deception), Tom Felton (Harry Potter and the Philosophical Stone "), Leo Howard (" Conan the Barbarian "), Logan Lerman (" Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief "), Jack Raynor (" Transformers: Age of Extinction "), Max Tyriot (" Bates Motel "/ Bates Motel ), Miles Teller ("Obsession"), Rami Malek ("Mr. Robot" / Mr. Robot ), Aaron Taylor-Johnson ("Kick-Ass"), Nick J. Robinson (" Jurassic World "), Colton Haynes (" Arrow "/ Arrow ) and Chandler Riggs (" The Walking Dead "/ The Walking Dead ).  The studio invited actors from 18 to 32 years old to casting, but in the end decided to expand the boundaries of the search. For example, Chandler Riggs is currently sixteen years old, and Rami Malek is 34. The age of Solo in the spin-off is still kept secret. Harrison Ford was 33 years old when filming for Episode 4 began.  The unnamed solo album Han Solo is set to premiere on May 24, 2018 .
