Star Wars spin-off gets directors
Disney and Lucasfilm Studios have officially announced the appointment of Chris Miller and Phil Lord as directors of the second film " Anthology" Star Wars " " featuring Han Solo .The script of the picture, together with his son John, was written by the author of the fifth, sixth and seventh episodes of the space saga Lawrence Kazdan . The film will unfold before the events of A New Hope , and viewers will have the opportunity to learn about how Solo became a famous smuggler. Taron Egerton ("Kingsman: The Secret Service") is considered one of the candidates for the role of young Khan . “We're excited to be working with Chris and Phil to bring a fresh twist to the Star Wars universe , - noted Lawrence and John in a joint statement. "These smart and talented filmmakers have made excellent choices to helm a project about one of the coolest guys in the galaxy."  The Lord and Miller track records include “Lego. Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and the Macho and Nerd franchise. Over the past few months, the successful creative duo has taken on work on the animated " Spider-Man ", the "Macho and Nerd" crossover with Men in Black, the blockbuster "The Flash" and comedy series Son Of Zahn . Insiders speculate that following the appointment of Star Wars spin-off directors, Chris and Phil will either have to abandon some of these projects, or limit the work on them to the functions of scriptwriters and producers.  According to The Hollywood Reporter , Disney and Lucasfilm continue to look for a replacement for Joshua Trank for yet another film, Anthology " Star War " ", whose protagonist is rumored to be Boba Fett . At the moment, the London studio Pinewood is preparing to shoot the first spin-off - "Rogue". The world premiere of the unnamed solo album Han Solo is scheduled for May 25, 2018 .
