The search for a new Han Solo is nearing completion
In early December, we reported that Disney had begun looking for a leading actor in the yet untitled spin-off of the Star Wars space saga, about the adventures of Han Solo b>.According to Variety , the management of the film company is currently preparing to proceed to the final casting stage. The number of applicants for the role of the famous smuggler was reduced from two and a half thousand to one and a half dozen actors. Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Raynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen and Blake Jenner continue to fight for the role of Solo . The names of the remaining actors shortlisted for the spin-off have not yet been announced. Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller plan to start meeting with the finalists in the very near future. According to insiders, such a rapid development of events may be due to the desire of the bosses of Disney to introduce viewers to the young Han Solo in one of the most anticipated films of this year - "Star Wars: Rogue" ...
