Reeves is looking for a young Batman
Until now, nothing has been heard from Warner Bros. regarding the new "Batman" by Matt Reeves, and while we are awaiting official announcements, another rumor has leaked onto the Internet.The fact that Ben Affleck is unlikely to return to the big screens as the Dark Knight because of Reeves' desire to find someone younger for the role has been talked about for a long time. However, it was only recently revealed that the director is looking for an actor much younger than Ben Affleck. According to the Comic Book Movie portal, the candidate must be 15-20 years younger. They say that for this reason Jake Gyllenhaal refused to participate in this project and chose the sequel to "Spider-Man". Jack Houston ("Pride and Prejudice and Zombies") was a contender at the same time as Gyllenhaal, but dropped out of the competition. However, he can still play another resident of Gotham, namely Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face. And while Penguin is still expected to be the main villain in the film, Two-Face is likely to reappear on the big screens. Rumor has it that the plot of the solo album will resemble Frank Miller's comic "Batman: Year One". It is not yet known how much the writers took from this story, but if Reeves plans to make the masked knight so young, then it is logical that he will draw inspiration from this popular graphic novel of the DC universe.  Representatives of the WB have not yet commented on information about a potential new Batman, and also did not disclose the details of the plot of the upcoming film.
