While Ben Affleck has not yet made a final decision on the form and timing of abandoning the role of Batman, director Matt Reeves, who was responsible for the creation of a solo movie about the defender of Gotham, has already found a replacement for him. This is reported by the Comic Book edition with reference to the John Campea show.

According to the popular presenter, he spoke with one of the producers, and he confirmed the presence of a candidacy that "will surprise many." According to unconfirmed reports, Reeves wants Jake Gyllenhaal to play the role of Batman. Allegedly, preliminary negotiations with the latter have already been held.

Recall that earlier in an interview, Ben Affleck said that he was looking for "an elegant and interesting way to leave this project." His desire to end Batman was confirmed by Casey Affleck, who "joked" one day, that his brother will not star in a solo movie.

You can see Ben Affleck in the role of Batman, (possibly for the last time), in the movie "Justice League", which has already been released worldwide. The project was crushed by Western critics and received a rotten status in the statistics portal Rotten Tomatoes.

As for Jake Gyllenhaal, he has experience in movieing large-scale and filled with special effects movie projects.
