Statistics have revealed favorites of critics and Hollywood outsiders
It looks like Jessica Alba urgently needs to get rid of her agent. The star of the Fantastic Four dilogy is recognized as the worst Hollywood actress of the XXI century in terms of the ratio of positive and negative reviews of films with her participation.An interesting rating was made by the GoCompare portal, which decided to find out which Hollywood stars are most often involved in disastrous and successful films from the point of view of film critics. The scores were calculated by professional reviewers from the Metacritic portal. Only feature films released in the last twenty years were taken into account. The statistics also left behind tapes, when working on which actors and actresses were not included in the top ten highest paid participants in the project. This move allowed us to immediately weed out third-plan artists, cameo masters and those Hollywood stars who agree to participate in frankly bad films out of extreme need. As it turned out, in the current millennium, Alba has appeared in only one film, which received a positive review on Metacritic. It happened in 2005, when the adaptation of the comic book "Sin City" earned 74% positive reviews from critics. Jessica, of course, cannot be called mediocrity in terms of acting talent, but she clearly has problems with the choice of roles. GoCompare analysts credited her with 24 feeds, of which 14 received negative reviews from critics, and nine were neutral. As for the average rating of films with the participation of the actress, it is only 39 out of 100 possible points.  Alba's company in the anti-rating of actresses was Jessica Biel (41.6% of positive reviews), Heather Graham (42.4%), Rada Mitchell (43.1%) and Katie Bates (43.5%). The worst actor in terms of the ratio of positive and negative reviews from critics was Mike Epps. Over the past 20 years, paintings with his participation have earned only 38.3% of positive reviews. Kevin Pollack (38.5%), Josh Duhamel (39.5%), Robin Williams (39.6%) and Gerard Butler (39.8%) are also among the five most negatively reviewed actors of the 21st century.  In addition, the GoCompare portal found out which Hollywood stars are the main favorites of film critics. This time, films that have been released over the past ten years were taken into account. Carey Mulligan has no equal among women. Since 2008, paintings with her participation have received an average of 72.8% of positive reviews. Sally Hawkins is on the second step of the podium (69.2%), and the third place went to Tilda Swinton (68%). The first place among men was won by Adam Driver (71.7%).
