Mysterious Ghostbusters
Recently it became known that the studio Sony decided to erase from the memory of the audience the unsuccessful reboot of "Ghostbusters" in 2016, filming a new part of the franchise, which will be a sequel to the original films. Secretly from the public, the major has been developing the project for months, and therefore it is not surprising that after the announcement of the sequel itself, news comes in about the cast of the tape. The return of the old-timers of the film series has not yet been officially confirmed, but a couple of new faces will appear in it.Negotiations about roles in the new "Ghostbusters" are led by small-screen stars Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfard. The casting of the latter seems pretty obvious, because in the second season of Mysterious Events, the actor has already tried on a ghost catcher costume. Rumor has it that the sequel's director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) was skeptical about the idea of using actors from the hit Netflix in the film, but apparently Wolfard's auditions convinced him otherwise. Details of the sequel, which will take place in the world of the classic "Ghostbusters", have not yet been reported. Insiders speculate that Carrie Kuhn will play a single mother and Wolfard will play her son, but how they relate to the title hunters is unclear. Again, there were rumors that teenagers would be the protagonists of the film, so that the star of Mysterious Events could once again put on the famous costume.  When it comes to modern 80s film nostalgia, Wolfard is one of the young actors who comes to mind first. His breakthrough was "Mysterious Events", followed by the horror movie "It", and as a result, Finn got roles in several ambitious projects like "Goldfinch" and "Turn".
