Bond 25 faces new challenges

Image The creators of the new film about the adventures of 007 continue to play on the nerves of the audience. As it became known, the start of filming of the 25th Bond film was again postponed, and another personnel reshuffle took place behind the scenes.

Yesterday Universal Pictures moved the world premiere of Bond 25. Initially, it was assumed that the tape about the British super agent moved from February 14 to April 8, 2020 to avoid additional competition at the box office. However, later it became known that the film was not yet ready to go into production.

The official announcement of the spy film took place in May last year. At the same time, it was announced that filming for "Bond 25" should begin in December 2018. A couple of months later, director Danny Boyle and screenwriter John Hodge unexpectedly dropped out of the project. They were replaced by director Carey Fukunaga ("Maniac") and veteran Bond authors Neil Purvis and Robert Wade. Then Paul Haggis (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace) was also involved in working on the script for the film. It seems that the triumvirate of writers failed to come up with the perfect plot for Daniel Craig's latest film as Bond. The studio decided to tweak the current version of the script and hired Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) to do the job.

It is expected that due to the partial revision of the text, the shooting of the film will be postponed at least until next month.
