Last month, James Bond and Danny Boyle parted ways, forcing the producers of the 007 franchise to urgently start looking for a new director and generating a lot of rumors about who, along with Daniel Craig, will receive a license to kill. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the search for a new boss for Bond has come to an end.The director of the 25th film of the cult film series was named Carey Fukunaga, who had not previously flickered among the obvious contenders for this post. The Bond film producers made an official announcement, adding that filming for the sequel will begin next March, and its release has been postponed until February 14, 2020. “We're thrilled to be working with Carey. His versatile and innovative vision makes him an excellent choice for the next James Bond adventure. ”noted Michael J. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.  Fukunaga is well known to the audience for the painting "Rootless Animals". The director also worked on the Netflix series "Maniac" with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in the lead roles.
