Fear God!

Image Legendary screenwriter, director and producer Stanley Kubrick has always gone to daring experiments and tried his hand at completely different genres and directions of cinema. To our great regret, many of his ideas and pans were never materialized. That there is even a grandiose historical epic "Napoleon", for the filming of which Stanley would have required tens of thousands of actors and extras. The young European company Media Musketeers decided to please the fans of the great film innovator and bought the rights to one of his unrealized scripts.

In the middle of the last century, Kubrick was thinking about making a film based on the book by Herbert Emerson Wilson "I Stole $ 16 Million." This autobiographical novel by a former Canadian priest tells how he turned his back on God and became one of the most successful safe-breakers and bank robbers in North American history.

The Media Musketeers management uses Kubrick's insights to create the four-part miniseries God Fearing Man. In 2014, Entertainment One attempted to implement Stanley's script. The role of Wilson was assigned to the Golden Globe laureate and seven-time Emmy nominee Michael C. Hall ("Dexter"), but in the end, the project never made it to the screen.

Judging by the preliminary data, the new copyright holders will not enter into negotiations with Hall and will start casting again. The miniseries will be produced by Stanley Kubrick's son-in-law, Philip Hobbs (Full Metal Jacket).
