An old friend is better than two new ones
James Gunn and Michael Rooker have worked together often, and it looks like this creative duo will have another movie date. Rooker claims one of the vacancies in Gunn's Suicide Squad - he is in negotiations to get the role of King of Sharks. The latter is a humanoid shark with a whole host of superpowers. He can breathe under water, swim quickly, withstand low temperatures, has super strength, the ability to regenerate and uses his own teeth and claws as weapons.It is noteworthy that not a single full-length film by James Gunn was complete without Michael Rooker, and thanks to Gunn, the actor knows firsthand what it is like to be a character from comics. In Guardians of the Galaxy, Rooker played the leader of the Ravagers Yondu, but since his return in a triquel is unlikely, the director and actor will meet again in the DC universe. The new "Suicide Squad" is a somewhat mysterious project. It is known that Daniela Melchior and David Dastmalchyan will play the Pied Piper and the Pea-Dot Man, respectively. John Cena claims to be the Peacemaker, and Idris Elba will become the head of the squad, whose as yet unnamed character will be an analogue of Deadshot. Viola Davis and Jai Courtney will definitely return to their roles from the first part, and, possibly, Margot Robbie will drop in to the villainous party.
