Luca Guadagnino will film Bob Dylan's album

Image The director of the acclaimed drama Call Me by Your Name, Luca Guadagnino revealed that he is currently working on a film that is inspired by Bob Dylan's album Blood on the Tracks. It is reported by the Rolling Stone edition. Speaking in New York ahead of the premiere of his remake of the cult horror film Suspiria, the director said that he was invited to take on the project by the producer who owns the rights to the legendary 1975 record.

Guadagnino agreed to start filming on one condition - if the tape will be delivered according to a ready-made script by Richard LaGravenez. The plot, based on the central themes of "Blood on the Tracks", will unfold over several years in the seventies. Bob Dylan wrote this largely autobiographical album during the breakup of his marriage with his then-wife Sarah after ten years of relationship.

LaGravenes became famous for his scripts for The Fisher King, The Bridges of Madison County and Water for Elephants! Guadagnino rose to international fame after his breakout drama with Armie Hammer and Timothy Chalamet, which won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay last year.
