Celine Dion earned a biopic

Today it became known that the French media giant Gaumont is preparing its response to American studios, having bought the rights to create a tape about the famous singer Celine Dion.Celine was born into a large family from the small Canadian town of Charlemagne. Dion became a star in her homeland as a teenager, releasing several popular albums with songs in French. The singer entered the international stage at the age of 14 when she managed to take third place at the Yamaha festival in Tokyo. Six years later, Celine took another step towards worldwide recognition. This time she won the Eurovision Song Contest. Dion's career peaked in 1997 when her song `` My Heart Will Go On '' sounded in the drama by James Cameron "Titanic". The musical composition has won several Grammy awards and an American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award. Today Celine Dion is rightfully considered one of the highest paid singers in the world, and the total circulation of her albums has long exceeded 200 million copies.  Gaumont's tape is expected to be named after one of Dion's most famous songs, The Power Of Love. The work on the project will take place with the full support of the singer. According to insiders, Celine has already given the go-ahead to use a number of her hits in the film. The work on the painting will be headed by the Frenchwoman Valerie Lemercier ("Aliens", "Seats in the stalls"). The winner of the Cesar Prize will take on three functions at once and will act as director, screenwriter and performer of the role of Dion. Sylvain Marcel (Bad Good Policeman) was also signed to take part in the film, who will be reincarnated as Celine's husband and manager, Rene Angelil.  The Power of Love is expected to have a budget of around $ 26 million. Filming will begin this spring, and its release is scheduled for December 2020.
