The unnamed insider, although related to cinema, is clearly not familiar with its history. If some parts of the James Bond film are really not connected by a common plot, then the pictures about Indiana Jones have never stood out from the same row. At the moment, the WB already has a couple of standalone movie comics in the works, including the solo films of Joker and Batman. In the case of these paintings, it was clear why the studio management wants to take them outside the boundaries of the main universe. The film company needed an alternative Joker, because the audience did not welcome the Clown Prince of the underworld of Gotham, played by Jared Leto. Well, the place of the performer of the role of the Dark Knight turned out to be completely vacant when Ben Affleck left the franchise.
