Sergey Yursky died
At the age of 84, People's Artist of the RSFSR, Soviet and USA actor, theater and film director Sergei Yuryevich Yursky died. It is reported that the death of the artist was preceded by a long illness.Sergey Yuryevich was born in 1935 in Leningrad. His father was the artistic director of the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, and his mother was a music teacher, so that the boy was surrounded by creative people from childhood. He wanted to connect his life with art, but his parents resisted, and after graduating from school with a gold medal, Yursky entered the law faculty of Leningrad University, where he was admitted without exams. Sergei Yurievich took an active part in the productions of the Theater-Studio of Leningrad State University and in 1955 made the fateful decision to devote his life to acting. So Yursky was among the students of the Leningrad Theater Institute named after A.N. Ostrovsky. The talent of the young man did not go unnoticed, and two years later he was invited to the Gorky Bolshoi Drama Theater. Here he made his debut as a director. Nationwide fame was brought to Jurassic by the roles of Vikniksor in the "Republic of ShKID" and Ostap Bender in "The Golden Calf". In total, Sergei Yuryevich has more than four dozen works on his account - and this is only in the cinema. During his career, the artist has played many diverse characters. Among them there is a theoretical physicist Oppenheimer from "Choosing a Target", scout Sidney Reilly, Ivan Sergeevich Gruzdev from "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed" and, of course, the public's favorite Uncle Mitya from the Soviet comedy "Love and Doves".  In recent years, Yursky has acted little in films and on television (the last in the list of his works is the documentary "Yan Karsky.
