A short film from St. Petersburg was included in the Cinefondation program of the Cannes Film Festival
The organizers of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival included in the Cinefondation program the short film "The Difficult Subordinate" by Olesya Yakovleva. The main role in it was played by the vocalist of the Shortparis group from Novokuznetsk, Nikolai Komyagin. This is already the third work of a young director who studies at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television.This program, in fact, is a competition of works by students - future filmmakers working in the genre of feature films, as well as animation. This time, in addition to Yakovleva's tape, 16 more works from different parts of the world will participate in the program. The competition jury will be chaired by Palme d'Or nominee Claire Denis (Chocolate).
