Len Wiseman to film the Swamp Thing pilot
According to the online publication Deadline, Len Wiseman ("Lucifer") has been appointed as producer and director of the first episode of the upcoming series "Swamp Thing" about the character from the DC Universe created by Len Wyne ("Dark Universe") and Bernie Wrightson ("Swamp Thing") ... The project originated in the bowels of Atomic Monster studio James Wang (Aquaman) with the assistance of Warner Bros., and is expected to premiere next year on the streaming service DC Universe.The script was written by one of the authors of "The Mask" Mark Verheyden and Gary Doberman, co-author of the horror "It". The story tells of how Abby Arcane investigates the case of the discovery of a deadly virus in the swamps of Louisiana. During the investigation, she realizes that the bog holds a terrible secret, and if the swamp nightmare breaks out of the dark depths, no one will be safe anymore.
