Beware of Women, Mr. Bond
No sooner had Eon Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer officially announced the name of the director and the start date for filming a new film about the adventures of agent 007, when the first rumors about its plot began to appear on the Web. According to the British tabloid Daily Mail, in Danny Boyle's spy thriller, Daniel Craig's hero will be confronted by the fair sex.British journalists claim that the producers of the film series want to invite Helena Bonham Carter to the role of the main villain of Bond 25. As a fallback, the creators of the franchise are considering the candidacy of Angelina Jolie. During her long and successful career in the world of big cinema, Bonham Carter has created an impressive gallery of images of colorful villains. Bond 25 may be the first film in the franchise to feature a woman as the main threat to the British super spy. Over the long history of the film series, agent 007 has fought with beautiful ladies more than once, but often they turned out to be just accomplices of his enemies. Rose Klebb and Electra King came closest to being the main villain of the film. Nevertheless, many Bond fans do not consider them to be full-fledged central antagonists, since the former worked for Ernst Blofeld, and the latter acted in tandem with Renard.  Officials from Eon Productions and MGM are in no hurry to confirm information about negotiations with Helena Bonham Carter and Angelina Jolie.
