Interesting dialogues sometimes come across in our movies … For example, like this: a guy and a girl are wandering around the city for a long time and tediously at night, and suddenly for no apparent reason he asks a question. `` Do you want to watch it? '' and looks at us with blue eyes, straight into the camera. `` Oh well, '' the half-asleep young lady sighs in response, `` this is completely optional … I think it's time to leave. ” I almost woke up from surprise. Well it is necessary, what level of self-criticism the authors of the movie have! By the way, the only spectator in the hall (well, except me) really got up and left after this phrase. But I stayed. Get some sleep. And through a dream, only one question tormented me: `` Why did I curse the last '' Christmas trees '' ? Indeed, in comparison with this endless and stupid gimmick, the New Year's blooper of Bekmambetov's studio looks almost like a masterpiece. There, in any case, the producers wanted to find something new, took risks trying to save the franchise. And Georgy Malkov and Emil Nikoghosyan, the authors of the ill-fated Mam 3, did not want to save anything. Everything suited them. And they decided not to do anything. That is NOTHING at all. At the same time, the format of the movie has changed almost beyond recognition. If you remember, then `` Moms '' and `` Happy New Year Mom! '' were made on the principle of a `` patchwork quilt '': a composite hodgepodge of the most motley stories, which, unlike the same `` Christmas trees '', did not intersect with each other. Tiny plots could be sad, funny funny, stupid, tearful, stupid again, but due to its diversity, due to the frequent change of scene and a huge number of stars, the success (or at least the audience's interest) was ensured for the movies. Now what? There are only 5 star actors: Anastasia Zavorotnyuk (famous TV presenter Nadezhda Pushkareva), Maria Semkina (former governess), Olga Volkova (village grandmother Antonina Ivanovna), Andrei Urgant (pensioner Victor in love) and Garik Kharlamov (Gosha, Viktor's son). The first trinity migrated to the movie from the first series, Gosha – from the second. (True, Timur Rodriguez is also announced, but his presence is so fleeting that it does not really change anything). The scene is a deserted Polish town, at night. Young ladies roam the deserted streets midnight in search of adventure and … can't find them. So what if Poles do not celebrate New Year on December 31. For them, this is the quietest night of the year. And so the city sleeps. The audience, by the way, too. And then. No, you won't believe – then absolutely nothing happens. USA mothers endlessly chat about something, go somewhere, call someone, buy food for Olivier, after a couple of minutes they forget about them. And all this is so unnecessary, uninteresting, accidental. Flashbacks save a little (mothers constantly remember their offspring when they were small), but in real cinematic time there are no children – they are somewhere far away and, moreover, have grown up long ago. Therefore, if you went to the cinema for touching stories a la `` daughter-mother '', then feel free to drag the ticket back to the box office. Now about the genre. Despite the frank `` tearfulness '' some short stories, the previous `` Moms '' were still a comedy. And here comes Mom 3 already one hundred percent melodrama, and, despite Kharlamov's presence, laughing moments are completely absent. The festive mood is also a problem: it is a little at the very beginning (USA airport) and five minutes at the end, when the heroes still arrange the `` raskolbas '' promised in the trailer. By the way, it begins (`` raskolbas '') very even `` original '': having heard the announcement of the impending holiday on the radio of Goshino, the Poles leave their houses in orderly rows, become a bunch at the local Christmas tree and listen to the song of their own local artist. Then one of the main characters enthusiastically yells that `` this is his best New Year, '' and credits begin immediately. I repeat: all the `` fun '' lasts exactly five minutes. By the way, the producers insist that Moms 3 the latter and others will not be. Um … Why am I not crying at all about this, you do not know?
