Review of the movie Christmas Trees 3. Human Bridges

Timur Bekmambetov continues to turn one of his most affectionate creations into a New Year's tradition. And although the trilogy about our time has come to an end – next year they promise to show the already pre-revolutionary New Year – the show doesn't even think to stop. For nothing, that it becomes less and less touching and comfortable, more and more lurid and fluffy, not so neat and much more uneven than before. Have you thought?

Alas and ah, but the authors of `` Christmas trees '' They noticeably lost ground and seemed to be exhausted, and quite sharply. The first two parts could be calmly watched in one gulp, like one movie, and it's not at all about half of the characters who migrated to the continuation - some of them are in the third part – but in the atmosphere of the paintings, and their quality. Almanacs – who managed to become a popular format of holiday movies with us, we quickly recall two parts of `` Mom '', one of which last year replaced the `` Christmas trees '' that had gone on vacation – wonderful stories from different parts of the country, successfully connected with each other, from which it became warm in the soul, and in the heart – cozy. And the brain began to believe in USA cinema.

Now the authors have gone all out, having lost all sense of proportion. Stories are either grotesque to the point of disgrace – okay, funny and, in its own way, spiritual disgrace – or flavored with tons of vanilla, sugar and snot, from which the eyes stick together, and stuck in the mouth. First of all, this concerns the `` locomotive '' – descriptions of the big tragedy of a little girl, whose two pets were cunningly separated by an evil stepmother, oh, that is, a mother and a weak-willed father. Looks appropriate through the word, repeated in the voice-over of Khabensky `` likes '', quite in the spirit of the whole movie looks like `` Boomerang of Good '', which replaced the handshakes and family ties from the previous parts. But the scenario of this novel itself ...

Continuous blatant attempts to knock a tear out of the viewer. Clumsy, deliberate, devoid of any hint of grace – the scriptwriters just purposefully and methodically, like a battering ram, hammer into the same place, knocking out pity from those sitting in the hall – and it's pretty annoying. And in conjunction with the rest of the stories, for the most part – funny, just infuriates, so that such a contrast only ineptly plays on the nerves, evoking emotions, far from the definition of "positive". You don't even remember any New Year's mood when you look at another tearful post of your daughter on Facebook (by the way, why not Vkontakte? Not patriotic). It evaporates, dissolves in the air, goes into oblivion, into a happy past, in which the mind has not yet encountered this oversweetened novella.

On the other hand, the movie is propped up by completely insane, but no less cute and funny , stories about old acquaintances: Petersburgers, performed by Svetlakov and Urgant, and a skier with a snowboarder and an immortal granny, they are Domogarov Jr., Golovin and Stakhanov. These were brought into a fierce jungle, and the most successful gags are associated with them, and the dialogues, not to mention the feeling of insane courage, even though immoderate and grotesque, against which all other stories pale slightly. Including about the modest doctor, who immodestly about himself weaved three boxes of school love in order to make an impression - ndash; The textbook plot was played very well with Anton Bogdanov in the lead role, who more and more often began to flicker in full-length movies (we do not mind).

Continuations of some stories, however, are not enough, and they were replaced by not the most successful , like a completely stupid short story with Gosha Kutsenko. And no moderation – the authors rush from edge to edge, as if forgetting that even a thousand tortured audience reactions are not worth one sincere one. However, with all this, the series still holds the brand and promises to correct the shaky situation with a fresh approach next year. Let's hope. In the meantime, you can relax and, with reservations,
